Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Product Designer with a proven track record in designing web applications and SaaS products. This is not a role for someone who needs detailed direction at every step. We want a self-starter who can take a general idea of the application, define features, and craft user flows, layouts, and interfaces that align with our vision and user needs. You’ll conduct user and product research, propose feature sets, and make data-driven design decisions to deliver a seamless user experience. Proficiency in Figma and the ability to create interactive prototypes are essential. You’ll also be expected to iterate on designs and provide multiple variations for the team to evaluate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the entire product design process, from ideation to final handoff, for web applications and SaaS products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into user-centered product designs.
- Create multiple design variations, offering diverse perspectives and options for layouts, user flows, and visual elements.
- Build interactive prototypes in Figma to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and product analysis to refine designs and optimize user experiences.
- Proactively suggest new features or enhancements based on research and testing.
- Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency across all product interfaces.
- Work closely with developers to ensure design fidelity and smooth implementation.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role, focusing on web applications and SaaS products.
- Proficiency in Figma, including the ability to create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered product designs, including variations and iterative design processes.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the product design process.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
